Lisa started in Building Control in 1995 having joined Teignbridge District Council Planning Department in 1988.  Lisa successfully gained Technician status with the Chartered Association of Building Engineers in 2015 and was amongst the first in the country to achieve this new professional qualification.  Lisa's contributions towards the development of professional technical support teams within Building Control nationally was recognised by the LABC who presented her with the 'South West Superstar Award 2017'.

Lisa has achieved ILM Level 5 Certificate in Management and currently manages the Technical Support Team and job shares this role with Nikki Denton - Lisa works Monday to Wednesday.
