Following a varied career in the private sector Nikki joined Teignbridge Building Control in 2001.

Nikki successfully gained Technician status with the Chartered Association of Building Engineers in 2015 and was amongst the first in the country to achieve this new professional qualification.  Nikki's contributions towards the development of professional technical support teams within Building Control nationally was recognised by the LABC who presented her with the 'South West Superstar Award 2017'.

Nikki has achieved ILM Level 5 Certificate in Management and currently manages the Technical Support Team and job shares this role with Lisa Lake - Nikki works Wednesday to Friday.
