Richard joined Teignbridge District Council Building Control in 2003 as a Trainee Surveyor and has continued as an Area Surveyor since the Partnership was formed in 2004.  Richard has been involved in a variety of projects including the University Technical College in Newton Abbot, which won in the LABC Building Excellence Awards.  Richard currently works within the West Team. 

Richard is an LABC Level 6 Fire-Safety Specialist and a Class 2 Registered Building Inspector (Categories A-F unsupervised for plans and inspections) .

Outside of work, Richard enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children which keeps him busy.
