Scott joined Devon Building Control in 2006.  Prior to this he spent 8 years in the private sector working for both a large-scale building contractor and a financial institution.  During his time with DBC he has gained professional membership of CIOB and achieved ILM Level 5 in Management. In 2016 Scott progressed to Operational Group Leader for the East Team.  Scott is also an LABC Level 6 Fire-Safety Specialist.

Scott is a Class 3 Specialist Registered Building Inspector (Categories A-H unsupervised for plans and inspections) and Class 4 Technical Manager.

Scott has a passion for contemporary architecture and in his spare time enjoys bell-ringing.
