Dave joined Building Control in 1989.  He is currently an Area Surveyor of the West Team mainly in the South Hams Districts of Kingsbridge and Salcombe.

Since qualifying as a Chartered Building Surveyor with the RICS in 2002, Dave has specialised in the areas of inclusive access for all and energy conservation in buildings. Dave is also an LABC Level 6 Fire-Safety Specialist.

Dave is a Class 2 Registered Building Inspector (Categories A-F unsupervised for plans and inspections)
